How To Connect A GoDaddy Domain To Your JoonWeb Website?
You can connect your GoDaddy domain to your JoonWeb website by following these steps:
- In your JoonWeb dashboard, go to the My Sites section
- Click on Manage (for the website you want to connect the domain to)
- Navigate to the Settings option in the left sidebar (bottom)
- Click on Domain option & click on Connect an existing domain button
- Here enter your Domain Name, search it & click on continue with your domain (eg. yourbusiness.com)
- Now verify domain ownership dashboard will open, here You'll get Record Data
- Copy the Required IP address
- On your GoDaddy account's dashboard, Go to the Domain Portfolio (or Domains) page
- Select your domain name from the list & go to the Domain Settings page
- Click on the Manage DNS option
- Now will have to fill in the required info on the DNS Management page
- Click on the Add button & go to the Type section & select A (A Record)
- In the Name field, type @
- In the Value field, paste the Required IP Address (you’ve copied from JoonWeb’s Domain Settings page)
- Select TTL as Default
- Click on Add Record & wait for it to update the DNS record
- Go back to your JoonWeb’s Domain Settings page
- Scroll down & copy the Required value
- Return to your GoDaddy’s DNS Management page (see Steps 8, 9, 10, 11)
- Click on the Add button & go to the Type section & select CNAME (CNAME record)
- In the Name field, type www
- In the Value field, paste the Required value (you’ve copied from JoonWeb’s Domain Settings page)
- Keep TTL as Default
- Click on Add Record & wait for it to update the DNS record
- Return to JoonWeb’s Domain Settings page
- Scroll down & click on the Verify Connection button
- And it's done!
